In this article I want to share with you two unusual butters that can lower your blood pressure.
The first butter is peanut butter.
Surprisingly, natural peanut butter is actually a healthy source of good nutrients.
The nutty butter is packed with monounsaturated fats, vitamins, protein, and fiber.
Although some may want to stay away from peanut butter because it’s relatively high in calories, and if you eat too much, it can make you fat.
But peanut butter is actually a great snack, filled with protein and good fat, which tends to fill you up for longer.
Peanut butter also contains potassium which can help keep your blood pressure in check.
And the second unusual butter is almond butter.
This is the butter that I prefer because it’s a delicious treat that has become all the rage recently, and with good reason.
Like peanut butter, almond butter is loaded with monounsaturated fats which are great for the heart.
This nutty butter also contains antioxidants, vitamin C, magnesium, and vitamin E to name a few, which are great heart-boosting nutrients.
But again, be careful.
Almond butter tastes so good that it’s hard to stop eating it.
Both of these butters are heart healthy.
Both offer fiber, carbohydrates, fat and protein.
One tablespoon of either nut butter contains about 95 calories, 1.5 grams of fiber, 3 grams of carbohydrate, 8 grams of fat and 4 grams of protein
So when you eat them, make sure you control your portions.
But when eaten in moderation, both of these nut butters are healthy for you and can help you lower your blood pressure.
Have a healthy day!
